Job summary

The AA is seeking a Roadside Rescue Mechanic to join our field team. You’ll start and end each shift from your base, work across varied locations and weather, and be the friendly face of the UK’s largest motoring organisation, helping members get back on the road quickly.

You’ll need NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, a full UK driving licence with up to 6 points, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience.
• Full category B driving licence with 6 points or less.
• Confidence using and adapting to new technology and tools.

Responsibilities

• Starting and finishing on your driveway, paid from entry to home.
• Working independently across varied locations and conditions, while staying part of a supportive team.
• Using technical knowledge and clear communication to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Solving problems on the spot and handling a wide range of roadside situations.
