Job summary

The AA is looking for a Roadside Rescue Mechanic to join our UK-wide patrol team. You’ll start and finish from your driveway, earning a guaranteed £40,387 in the first year with location allowance and potential to reach £60,000 OTE for top performers.

Expect shift flexibility across evenings, weekends and holidays in a varied, customer-focused role. You’ll apply technical skills on the roadside, communicate clearly with members, and remain safe and professional in all conditions while delivering

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent experience.
• Full category B driving licence with 6 points or less.
• Confidence using and adapting to new technology and tools.

Responsibilities

• Starting and finishing on your driveway, paid from door to door.
• Work independently across varied locations and conditions while remaining part of a supportive team.
• Use technical knowledge and clear communication to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Resolve problems on the spot using your technical skills and calm approach.
