Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or over.
• Current Category B driving licence required.
• Experience in the Motor Repair industry is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with vehicle breakdowns and provide on-the-spot solutions.
• Diagnose issues such as fuel problems and tyre repairs.
• Collaborate with dispatch to improve the customer claims process.

What you'll be doing

This is a permanent role based around Eastbourne, Brighton, Worthing, Crawley, Horsham, and Redhill.

You will work 40 hours a week, four days a week, on a shift pattern between 7am and 8pm, Monday to Sunday, with optional overtime.

We will provide a Green Flag vehicle, and you will start your day from home. Your role involves assisting customers with vehicle breakdowns, diagnosing issues such as fuel problems, tyre repairs, or battery replacements, and providing on-the-spot solutions to get their vehicle back on the road. You will need to diagnose problems, understand requirements, and ensure customer confidence during the process.

What you'll need

• To be 21 years or over for insurance purposes
• A current Category B driving licence
• NVQ Level 2 or similar accreditation in light vehicle maintenance (preferred)
• Empathy and a desire to achieve correct outcomes
• Experience in the Motor Repair industry
• Experience of lone working (desirable)
• Knowledge of up-to-date vehicle repair techniques
• Adherence to Health & Safety best practices
• Ability to collaborate with dispatch team to improve the customer claims process
• Self-initiative
