The RAC is the UK's leading breakdown service provider, a people-powered business of 4,000 'orange heroes' delivering top-tier motoring services for private and business drivers. Due to our growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled, field-based Roadside Mechanic to join our team.

As a Roadside Mechanic, you will need:

• A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
• Technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
• A customer-focused approach
• A full UK driving license
• Flexibility for short-notice work
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight if needed

This role involves working approximately 40 hours per week without a fixed roster. You will receive your schedule 7 days in advance, with core hours communicated 3 days prior, within 0600 to 0200. Shift patterns include evenings, early mornings, weekends, and bank holidays.
