The RAC is the UK's leading breakdown service provider - a people-powered business of 4,000 'orange heroes' delivering top-tier motoring services for private and business drivers. Due to our unprecedented growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled, field-based Roadside Mechanic to join our Roadside Patrol team.

As a Roadside Mechanic, you will need:

• A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
• Demonstrated technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
• A customer-focused approach
• A full UK driving licence
• Flexibility to work at short notice
• Willingness to travel and undertake overnight stays if necessary

In this role, you'll work approximately 40 hours per week without a fixed roster. You will receive your roster seven days in advance, with core hours scheduled three days in advance, within the hours of 0600 and 0200. Your shift patterns will include evenings, early mornings, weekends, and bank holidays.
