Job summary

East Ayrshire Council is seeking a temporary 2-year full-time officer to support the Team Leader in managing and delivering Capital Contracts for roads, traffic and transportation schemes based at Meadowhead Roads Depot, Coylton.

The role requires 35 hours per week with hybrid work (office 1–2.5 days per week; remaining time working from home). Salary ranges from £43,589 to £47,484 per annum, with a commitment to a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Qualifications

• Experience in highway/transportation project management.

Responsibilities

• Support the Team Leader in day-to-day management and implementation of Capital Contracts related to roads, traffic and transportation engineering schemes.
• Assist with promotion, delivery and integration of key objectives in the Ayrshire Roads Alliance Plan and the Community Plan.
