My client is one of the world's leading forensic consultancies, with multiple offices around the UK. They are currently looking for a skilled Road Traffic Collision Investigator to join their growing forensic RTC team.

The Role:

• You’ll examine the scenes & vehicles involved, ensuring all evidence is recorded, often requiring sophisticated mapping and photographic equipment.
• Ensuring meticulous collection, preservation, and interpretation of evidence, including vehicle defects and telematic data, to accurately report on collision circumstances.
• You’ll produce reconstruction reports explaining how events unfolded.
• Identify the need for additional resources or specialist knowledge to aid forensic examination or reconstruction.
• Present your findings in court as a qualified expert.

Minimum Skills / Experience Required:

• You need to speak clearly, confidently, and explain technical information backed up with comprehensive and unbiased reports.
• Effective communication skills for internal and external interactions, including meetings, calls, and emails.

Ideally, you will:

• Hold a good honours degree in engineering or science.
• Be progressing towards Chartered status at a minimum.
• Possess a higher degree (e.g., MSc or PhD) - desirable.
• Be capable of completing physical site work.
• Have clear communication skills in conveying technical concepts.
• Be willing to work flexible hours as needed.
• Have several years of postgraduate experience.
