My client is one of the world's leading forensic consultancies with a privately owned business and multiple offices across the UK. They are currently looking for a skilled Road Traffic Collision Investigator to join their growing forensic RTC team.

The Role - Forensic Road Traffic Collision Investigator

• Examine scenes & vehicles involved in collisions, ensuring all evidence is recorded accurately.
• Utilize sophisticated mapping and photographic equipment as needed.
• Ensure meticulous collection, preservation, and interpretation of evidence, including vehicle defects and telematic data.
• Produce reconstruction reports explaining how events unfolded.
• Identify additional resources or specialist knowledge required for forensic examination or reconstruction.
• Present findings in court as a qualified expert.

Minimum Skills / Experience Required

• Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information and produce comprehensive, unbiased reports.
• Effective communication internally and externally via face-to-face meetings, calls, and emails.
• Hold a good honours degree in engineering or science-based field.
• Progressing towards Chartered status in a relevant discipline.
• Desirable: Higher degree such as MSc or PhD.
• Ability to complete site work, which may include physical exertion.
• Experience in conveying technical concepts to individuals with lesser expertise.
• Willingness to accommodate unpredictable work hours.
• Several years of postgraduate experience.
