2 X Fixed Term/Secondment Opportunity for 12 Months

IMPORTANT: This post requires a regular shift working between 6am and midnight, 7 days a week. The shift pattern is based on a 5-day working week (7.2 hours per day + 1 hour for lunch) with 4 consecutive days off every 3 weeks. Working patterns are subject to review and change.

Hackney Parking Services is a leader in parking enforcement, managing Penalty Charge Notices, School Streets, and Ultra Low Emission Zones. Recently, the Council insourced parking enforcement operations, creating new roles pivotal to the service's delivery.

In this role, you will need strong communication, networking, and organizational skills to work with residents and partner services. Your problem-solving, conflict management, and adaptability are essential. You will work primarily from CCTV control rooms, processing CCTV data manually and via ANPR systems. Attendance in the office is required, with limited remote work options.

Your duties include enforcing traffic and parking regulations under the Traffic Management Act 2004, processing CCTV permits, and logging scheme performance. Prior parking enforcement experience is not necessary, as full training will be provided.

You must pass security vetting through DBS checks to be considered.
