Job summary

idverde is seeking a Road Sweeper Driver in Winchester to operate a road sweeper and maintain clean streets. You will join a motivated team and follow health and safety policies. The role is permanent and full-time, with 40 hours per week, 06:00-14:30.

Required are an HGV Licence and CPC Card with tacho card; road sweeper experience is desirable. Training and development opportunities are provided within idverde's grounds maintenance division.

Qualifications

• Must have an HGV Licence and CPC Card with tacho card.
• Road sweeper experience is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of the local area.
• Must be medically fit to undertake physical work.
• Must be willing to work to the Company's Health & Safety Policy as well as use correct PPE.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate road sweeper to clean streets in Winchester and surrounding areas.
• Maintain vehicle and report defects.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and PPE requirements.

About the role

Are you an HGV Licence and CPC Card holder seeking an opportunity to train with a motivated team and assist in the cleanliness of the local community? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Road Sweeper Driver! The successful candidate will assist in cleaning the streets of Winchester and the surrounding areas using a HGV Road Sweeper.

Requirements

• Must have an HGV Licence and CPC Card with tacho card.
• Road sweeper experience is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of the local area.
• Must have an appreciation of the business to be undertaken and must be medically fit to undertake physical work.
• Must be willing to work to the Company's Health & Safety Policy as well as use correct PPE.
