Ringway Jacobs in the UK is recruiting a Road Safety Technician to support the Vision Zero agenda across Essex. You will work with SERP and partner organisations to deliver tailored road safety messages to students, the public and businesses.

The role involves contributing to policy compliance, providing timely advice to leaders and the public, and delivering education and enforcement campaigns. A Full UK driving licence, good IT skills, and flexible, travel-ready approach are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills with willingness to develop as required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of policies and procedures to minimise work-related injuries.
• Provide timely and accurate advice to senior leaders, Councillors and the public on highway matters.
• Respond to complaints to meet targets and deliver value for money.
• Contribute to ordering of work and services to deliver programmes on time and within budget.
• Deliver road safety interventions and education to various stakeholders.
