Job summary

Ringway Jacobs seeks a Road Safety Technician to support Essex highways across multiple sites, delivering Vision Zero initiatives and public road safety messaging. You will work within SERP collaborations, engaging with schools, businesses and residents to promote safer behaviour and enforcement campaigns.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
• Intermediate MS Office skills; training provided if required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of policies and procedures to minimise work-related injuries.
• Provide timely, accurate advice to senior leaders, councillors and the public on highway matters.
• Respond to complaints to meet targets and deliver value for money.
• Contribute to the ordering of work to enable future programmes to be delivered on time and within budget.
• Deliver road safety interventions and raise awareness to children and adults.
