Herefordshire Council is seeking a Road Safety and Traffic Engineer to join the Highways and Public Realm team in Herefordshire. As a Road Safety and Traffic Engineer, you will provide technical advice to officers, councillors, developers, partners and stakeholders, helping to shape how our highway network operates. You will play an important role in the development, implementation and review of Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs), ensuring that traffic management measures are effective, proportionate and support the needs of our communities.
Working as part of a skilled and supportive team of traffic engineering professionals, you will design and deliver road safety and traffic management initiatives across Herefordshire. From identifying and developing innovative transport solutions to managing projects through to completion, you will help create a safer, more efficient highway network.
Your work will contribute to the safe and expeditious movement of all road users, maximising the value of our infrastructure and delivering tangible benefits for residents, businesses and visitors alike.
