Job summary

White Recruitment is partnering with a respected logistics business in Witham to recruit a Road Freight Operator. You will oversee the day-to-day movement of import and export shipments across Europe, ensuring customers receive a seamless service from collection through to final delivery.

The Role

As a Road Freight Operator, you'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day movement of import and export shipments across Europe, ensuring customers receive a seamless service from collection through to final delivery.

Key responsibilities:

• Planning and coordinating European road freight import and export shipments
• Liaising with customers, hauliers, overseas partners and drivers
• Booking collections and deliveries
• Monitoring shipments and providing regular customer updates
• Completing operational documentation and customs-related paperwork where required
• Resolving operational issues quickly and professionallyBuilding strong relationships with customers and transport partners
