Road Freight Coordinator - Feltham - Up to £35,000

Our client seeking a Road Freight Coordinator to ensure the timely and accurate movement of domestic freight. You'll be the link between customers, carriers, and internal teams - making sure shipments run smoothly, paperwork is accurate, and service levels are consistently met.

Job type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday - 09:00 - 17:30

Salary: Up to £35,000

Responsibilities
  • Manage road freight shipments, ensuring smooth and timely process flow.
  • Accurately enter and maintain shipment data in the system.
  • Track and trace shipments, providing regular updates and reporting.
  • Use the road freight workflow daily to manage deliveries.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing for clients and vendors.
  • Oversee freight delivery and clearance where applicable.
  • Support customers with shipment arrangements, meeting service standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
  • Maintain and update customer SOPs (DLSOPs).
  • Achieve KPI targets in line with company standards.
  • Communicate promptly with internal teams and external partners.
  • Escalate issues when needed and contribute to process improvements.
What they're looking for
  • Knowledge of road freight operations, regulations, and compliance.
  • Experience with a UK based freight forwarder
  • Based in the UK and have RTW - No sponsorship is on offer
  • Understanding of the logistics industry; Hazmat certification a plus.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
  • Positive, proactive, and customer-focused attitude.
