Road & Estates Adoptions Manager South West Region (Swindon Office)

This is a dynamic role where youll collaborate with our Land and Commercial Departments, manage tendering processes, oversee sub-contractors, and ensure smooth adoption of infrastructure and estates.

Your Role at a Glance

As Road & Estates Adoptions Manager, youll be at the heart of our infrastructure delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating tendering, cost analysis, and order placement
  • Liaising with statutory authorities and planning/highway departments to achieve timely adoption of infrastructure (Sections 104/38/185 etc.)
  • Overseeing sub-contractors and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety policies
  • Managing documentation from instruction to adoption
  • Maintaining accurate cost records and collaborating with the Commercial Department

What Youll Bring

  • Proven experience in construction, particularly road construction
  • Strong communication skills for working with local authorities, solicitors, and customers
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Solid IT skills and budget management capabilities
  • Excellent negotiation and time management skills
  • A construction management qualification is desirable
