Overview:

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse Internal Traveler to work on an Intermediate Care unit for their Oncology Stepdown unit for a 14-week temporary Night shift traveler contract. Does NOT require Chemo Certification.

$70/hr! RN Traveler Temporary Position

Department/Position Overview: This unit cares for patients with cancer in an inpatient, 36-bed Intermediate Care Unit. We are hiring compassionate RNs to monitor physical conditions, prescribe medication, and administer chemotherapy and other treatments. The care we deliver is dynamic and includes but is not limited to:

  • Chemotherapy
  • Hospice
  • Radiation
  • Stem Cell Transplants / CAR-T
  • Radioactive Iodine Management

Education

Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in Nursing required

Certification/Licensure

  • Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • ACLS
