Job description

Overview

The Quality Process RN is responsible for Socorro General Hospital's Quality Program, including Clinical Quality, Patient Safety, and Regulatory/Accreditation compliance. The role involves analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of program-level initiatives that promote SGH's quality strategies and priorities. The RN leads and participates in cross-functional teams, facilitates process redesign, performs project audits, completes them, and presents results to various leaders and stakeholder groups.

Qualifications
  • Associate Degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • New Mexico Nursing License RN-NM required
  • 1-3 years experience related to the Quality Process
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Additional skills in database, statistical process control applications, decision support systems, benchmarking, process mapping (Visio), and project management (Microsoft Project) preferred
  • Knowledge of healthcare quality management, clinical practice, and regulations; Joint Commission accreditation standards preferred
