Job summary

Capital Health is hiring a registered nurse to provide patient care in an ambulatory/outpatient environment. The role requires nursing assessment, medication administration, and documentation in line with policy, with emphasis on safety and patient education.

The position requires an RN license (NJ/PA or multi-state), an associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred), and BLS certification. Prior acute/urgent care experience is preferred, and the department offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or higher required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license for NJ/PA or multi-state compact based on location.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing care and treatments; assists with procedures and wound care.
• Educates patients and families; documents education and results.
• Administers medications and injections per protocol.
• Triage calls, record history, and prepare exam rooms and records.
• Maintains labs, imaging, and quality control as required.
• Participates in research studies and supports team during high activity.
