Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Michigan required upon hire.

About the unit

Corewell Health Pennock Hospital Cancer Care Center, located at 1009 W Green St in Hastings, has an opening for a resource-based RN for our Infusion team. This position works as needed to meet department needs.

About Outpatient Clinics

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, offering a wide range of primary care and specialty practices. This provides staff with opportunities to learn, explore various interests, or specialize in specific areas.

Scope of work

Provides nursing care responsibly and ethically, as outlined by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and Michigan state law. Demonstrates competency through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds professional standards such as ethical practice, cultural competence, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and resource management. Aims to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors (BSN) preferred
• Successful completion of a competency-based orientation
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Michigan required upon hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required within 90 days
• Minimum one year of RN experience, preferably in infusion nursing, strongly preferred

Shift: Day shift, hours from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., variable days, Monday to Friday
