Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Manager, Clinical Program to coordinate and oversee the Riverview Joint and Spine program. You will serve as a clinical resource for staff, physicians, and patients, represent the program on the hospital leadership team, and manage budgets and performance metrics.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, at least 3 years in a related field, 1 year of leadership experience, and an NJ RN license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field.
• Experience with elective hip and knee/joint/spine Orthopedic population preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience.
• Current valid NJ RN license.
• BLS Certification.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Participates, develops, implements, and evaluates the certification compliance for the program (i.e. TJC, DOH, CMS).
• Interprets, implements and enforces department and program- specific policies and procedures. Maintains current knowledge of state/government regulatory standards and requirements.
• Assists the medical director, ensures communication among physician, patient, and outside referral sources is accurate and timely.
• Functions responsibly as a clinical manager. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and uses teaching methods based on learner needs.
• Develops, implements and maintains policy and procedures department wide.
• Communicates professionally with patients, families, visitors, team members and physicians to promote high quality care.
• Tracks, analyzes, and reports on relevant data and metrics; develops improvements.
• Promotes patient satisfaction and addresses issues with patient experience leadership.
