This role involves administering patient care in an acute care hospital setting, providing active treatment for injuries, illnesses, medical conditions, or post-intervention care, including patient assessment.
Essential Functions
Education/Training: Graduate of an approved nursing school; meet all competency requirements for Orlando Health and the specific department.
Licensure/Certification: Current Alabama RN license or valid multistate RN license; BLS/Healthcare Provider certification; ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC certifications as required for specific areas; NRP for NICU; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for in-home nursing duties.
Note: Must be licensed, certified, or registered as required by law or policy in the state of practice.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience required unless approved by AVP or higher; 2 years for Hospital Care at Home in-home nursing roles.
