Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and oversees all unit functions during the shift. Collaborating with management, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care, serves as a resource, and models organizational values to support excellent patient outcomes and departmental performance.

What You Will Do in This Role:

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and quality care.
• Participate in assessing the quality of care provided in the unit.
• Collaborate with team members to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Support a patient-first approach and engage in service recovery when needed.
• Implement nursing strategies to improve staff engagement.
• Contribute to staff hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
• Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor costs.
• Support inventory management for supplies and equipment.

Qualifications Needed:

• Florida RN license or appropriate compact licensure; active FL RN license within 60 days if holding a compact license.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of 1+ years applicable nursing experience.
• Critical thinking, excellent service, interpersonal skills, and basic PC skills.
