National Readymix Performance Manager

Are you a dedicated Performance Manager looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation? At Tarmac, we're seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to join our team, where you will develop and lead performance initiatives across Tarmac's UK Readymix business to improve EBITDA and contribute to the wider value chain.

About the Role

As a National Readymix Performance Manager, you will provide guidance and direction through coaching and facilitating the adoption of continuous improvement mindsets and behaviours among management teams, lead and deliver business-wide continuous improvement & asset optimisation projects, and help develop strategies for the UK RMX business across all areas.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you will be responsible for (not exhaustive):

• Engaging with all levels of the business to identify improvement opportunities, champion and implement national initiatives, and ensure the use of CI tools to enable improvements
• Identifying and implementing specific lean projects
• Delivering targeted projects and recommendations for efficiency improvements, working through regional managers to implement sustainable changes
• Updating regional teams on current performance versus targets
• Promoting data-driven performance conversations within line management, coaching and facilitating dashboard reviews at all levels
• Providing technical guidance on appropriate tools and techniques
• Working closely with regional teams using a coaching style to promote leadership behaviours
• Maintaining awareness of current best practices in development and usage
