The Role

As an RMN Nurse Assessor, you will thrive in a communication and patient-focused environment. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting consultations with clients via phone, in person, or video to assess claims for Personal Independent Payment (PIP) or Work Capability Assessment (WCA) related to disabilities, injuries, or conditions.
• Performing thorough functional medical assessments of disabilities or conditions.
• Utilizing your strong communication skills to understand how the disability impacts the individual.
• Managing a varied caseload involving complex physical, mental health, cognitive, and sensory impairments.

Your Requirements

We are seeking Registered Mental Health Nurses with:

• Full and clear registration with the NMC
• At least 1 year's post-qualification experience
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• A positive, empathetic, and professional attitude
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
• Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute
