Job summary

NHS Tayside is seeking a Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse to work in Dundee, delivering crisis assessment, home treatment and early supported discharge services. The role requires RMN registration, proven experience, and the ability to work independently within a community setting.

Qualifications

• Registered on Sub-part 1: RN3 of the UK NMC Register.
• Experience as a Band 5 RMN working with diverse mental health issues.
• Willingness to travel and work in community settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver crisis assessment and home treatment.
• Develop, deliver and evaluate specialist psychological and psychosocial interventions in patients’ homes and communities.
• Provide supervisory support to junior team members and participate in service redesign.
