Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a committed Registered Mental Health Nurse to work in a hospital in the Charlwood, Surrey area. The post is in a low to medium secure setting for male patients aged 18+ detained under the Mental Health Act 1983.

You must have an active NMC PIN to be considered. The role involves delivering high-quality care, building therapeutic relationships, and, at senior levels, leading shifts and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Qualified RMN with current active NMC Pin.
• Registration with NMC required to practice in the UK.
• Experience in mental health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorder.
• Develop therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement.
• Contribute to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care with the individual, and monitoring progress.
• Lead shifts and mentor student nurses and other team members.

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Mental Health Nurse to work in an amazing hospital based in the Charlwood, Surrey area. You will be working for one of UKs leading health care providers

This is a low and medium secure hospital specialising in treating male patients aged 18+ who have been detained under the Mental Health Act (1983) and who will benefit from extended treatment and rehabilitation

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RMN Nurse with a current active NMC Pin

As a Nurse Your Key Duties Include

• Providing a high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorder
• Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
• Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
• Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
• At a more senior level, youll also need to lead shifts as well as mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the team

Benefits
