Job summary

Wiltshire Wildlife Trust Limited in Wiltshire seeks a River Restoration Lead to drive the development and delivery of restoration projects across the county. You will lead a team, work with landowners and partners, and deliver wildlife and water benefits.

The role reports to the Freshwater Delivery Manager, is permanent, 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri with occasional weekends/evenings), and based at Head Office, Devizes. Salary £35,000–£38,000.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of complex river and wetland restoration projects.
• Collaborate with landowners, contractors, communities and partner organisations to create lasting benefits for wildlife, water and people.
• Coordinate with the Freshwater Delivery Manager and the wider Water Team to plan and implement catchment-scale conservation initiatives.
