Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced individual to join the Risk and Compliance Directorate as a RCD Systems and Platforms Officer. This key role involves supporting the development, oversight, and strategic direction of SJP’s risk technology architecture, data capabilities, and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design and development of R&C systems, leveraging advanced technology and automation to improve efficiency, insights, and user experience.
• Develop and oversee automated reporting (RCSA, KRIs) for senior management and governance forums.
• Enhance risk data quality, insights, and visualization capabilities.
• Contribute to the design and oversight of risk data platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Support AI use case development in partnership with the FCA AI Lab and oversee their integration into the RCD platform.
• Ensure the risk platform remains compliant with regulatory changes and is future-ready.
• Maintain oversight of platform architecture and budgets within RCD.

Who we’re looking for:

You should be proactive, collaborative, and experienced in data and reporting within financial services. An enthusiasm for digital tools and innovation, coupled with strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication, is essential.

Skills/Experience:

• Proven experience in developing systems, data management, and reporting in risk and compliance contexts.
• Strong knowledge of non-financial risk management, ideally within wealth management, asset management, banking, or similar sectors.
• Expertise in risk frameworks, reporting, and data visualization tools.
• A digital-first, automation-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively across Legal, Compliance, and Audit functions.
• Experience with AI use case development or AI in risk contexts.
• Exposure to regulatory labs or innovation initiatives like FCA AI Lab.
• Knowledge of PRC taxonomies and risk data dictionaries.
• Experience overseeing platform or architecture budgets.
