What the day will look like

As a Risk Settlement Senior Consultant at Aon, you will be a key member of our 70–strong Risk Settlement Group, which includes a diverse range of experts and specialist sub-teams. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting or leading transaction advisement on a range of settlement transactions across the pension risk transfer market (including buy-ins, buy-outs, wind-ups, longevity swaps, and consolidation/capital solutions).
  • Managing transactions to ensure completion on time and within budget, and leading relationships with transaction stakeholders.
  • Advising clients on their strategic journey to settlement, including preparation for approaching the settlement market and assessing feasibility.
  • Building relationships with external stakeholders such as trustees, sponsors, and other transaction advisers to develop settlement opportunities.
  • Playing a central role in new business opportunities and initiatives internally and externally.
  • Using your knowledge of the settlement market to provide innovative solutions for clients.
  • Supporting marketing initiatives and media engagement, including annual campaigns and the dedicated risk settlement conference.
  • Contributing to the growth of the team.
  • Developing new strategies and propositions within the Risk Settlement Group and implementing them across clients.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and supporting team members to develop future leaders.
