Job summary

Munich Re in Greater London is seeking a Risk Review Actuary to strengthen the UK Risk Management team. You will work with the UK CRO and central functions to balance risk and commercial considerations while supporting regulatory reporting.

You will review complex transactions, advise senior stakeholders, and help develop the LH1 Region's risk outlook, ensuring compliance with PRA/FCA rules and Solvency II standards.

Qualifications

• University graduate or equivalent; qualified actuary.
• Postgraduate qualification in insurance or risk management (e.g. CERA).
• Strong communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review large and complex transactions for risk and compliance.
• Provide impartial advice to UK CEO and senior stakeholders.
• Develop and report the strategic risk outlook for LH1 Region.
• Contribute to UK Branch ORSA process and regulatory reporting.
• Mentor junior Risk Management staff.
