About your team

ISS Delivery provides the design and delivery of process and technology changes supporting the growth of Fidelity’s Global Investment Solutions & Services (ISS). We support Investment Management, Asset Management Operations, Distribution, and the Global Risk team primarily located in London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Toronto, Australia, Singapore, and China.

About your role

Fidelity ISS business continually evolves to meet market demands, client expectations, and sophisticated investment strategies. This role within the ISS Delivery team involves partnering with front office and 2nd line of defense investment risk teams to deliver changes that enhance investment decision-making and risk management capabilities.

As the Risk Project Manager and Product Lead, you will oversee the development and enhancement of our investment risk systems, leading a cross-functional team to ensure the delivery of high-quality products aligned with client needs and market competitiveness.

Responsibilities include:

• Partnering with business stakeholders to implement the product roadmap for FIL investment risk systems.
• Leading, mentoring, and motivating technical business analysts and developers.
• Providing strong leadership managing cross-functional teams.
• Ensuring clear communication and alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
• Managing BAU/KTLO, CI, and Program requests, resource allocations, and work completion according to priorities.
• Guiding system architecture, data modeling, and SQL development.
• Ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance of investment risk systems.
• Collaborating with technology counterparts and operational teams across locations to deliver impactful solutions.
• Facilitating stakeholder workshops and providing strategic insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Staying updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and innovations in risk and analytics tools.

About you

You are an experienced product team lead with a strong background in delivering technological change within front office environments. You are comfortable engaging with investment professionals, translating complex requirements, and driving delivery with technology teams.

You must have:

• Proven track record in leading cross-functional technology teams.
• Proven experience managing complex projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with stakeholder engagement and influencing senior decision-makers.
• Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Good understanding of investment risk methodologies (VaR, tracking error, duration risk) and performance measurement frameworks across asset classes.
• Strong SQL development and data modeling skills.
• Proven analytical skills to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Experience working in Agile environments with globally scattered teams.
