Job Description

The role is home-based with travel to WTW offices, clients, and prospects throughout the United Kingdom (and occasionally overseas) where required.

The Role

You will serve as an independent risk advisor to clients and prospects, providing consultation and advice on a wide range of risk management needs.

You will bring a fresh perspective and support the identification and development of the client’s risk profile to better align with risk mitigation, transfer, and tolerance strategies.

Additionally, you will develop and support new business opportunities and revenue generation in line with the GB Retail sales strategy by leveraging WTW’s Risk Management value proposition, focusing on driving New From New (NFN) and New From Existing (NFE) business and other growth activities to achieve superior results.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate clients' and prospects' risk exposure, maturity, claims profile, and governance to provide external insights and constructive challenges.
  • Identify sales opportunities across risk and claims management propositions.
  • Manage key client accounts from a risk and claims perspective.
  • Build internal and external networks through regular risk meetings with clients, account teams, and industry specialists, including participation in strategic risk groups, renewal strategy meetings, and industry forums.
  • Facilitate panel and promotional events, providing expert advice on risk and claims management.
  • Connect with clients and prospects to understand their current and future risk and claims needs, delivering exceptional added value.
  • Support bid tenders and leverage new business opportunities using your expertise.
  • Maintain a high external and internal profile, collaborating seamlessly with colleagues within the Risk, Claims, and Account Management teams.
  • Stay updated on evolving risk management and claims methodologies, industry trends, technological innovations, and emerging risks.
  • Review client claims experience to identify areas requiring risk management interventions.
