Job description

I am working with an well-established financial market infrastructure provider looking for a risk oversight analyst to join its independent risk function in London. This position offers the opportunity to support and help shape the proactive identification, assessment, and governance of risks that could impact complex clearing operations for derivatives and commodities markets.

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and analysing financial risks, horizon scanning for emerging threats, and supporting scenario analyses and risk planning initiatives across the business. You will collaborate with colleagues in risk, compliance, and business functions to interpret data, synthesize market and regulatory developments, and support robust risk governance frameworks. The role requires clear communication of complex risk concepts and providing actionable insights for senior stakeholders and risk committees.

Ideal candidates will have two to three years' experience in financial markets, risk management, or a related analytical discipline. An academic background in engineering, mathematics, statistics, economics, or a similar quantitative field is essential, along with strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively as part of a team.
