Join a leading telecommunications company as a Risk Manager – Risk & Sustainable Procurement

Are you passionate about supplier risk management and sustainability? Our client, a major player in the telecommunications sector, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Risk Manager to help redesign and embed supplier risk processes across their group. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment with global reach.

Contract Details

  • Contract Length: until February 2026 (with visibility to extend)
  • Location: London (hybrid – three time per week on-site)
  • Daily Rate: £550 per day (inside IR35)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement supplier risk management frameworks and governance policies.
  • Conduct supplier risk assessments across the full lifecycle using internal and external tools.
  • Monitor emerging risks and market trends, issuing alerts and reporting to governance forums.
  • Provide insights and best practices to integrate risk controls into sourcing and contracting processes.
  • Engage with industry forums and working groups to stay ahead of trends and raise the organisation’s profile.
  • Analyse supplier data to generate actionable insights and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to build a culture of resilience.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain risk management, ideally in a large corporate or consultancy setting.
  • Strong understanding of EU regulations and supplier risk certification schemes.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio; experience with risk platforms (e.g., EcoVadis, Moody’s, D&B) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
  • Self-starter with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
