About the company

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Gaydon, who are seeking a Risk Manager to join their team.

Job Description

As Risk Manager, your main responsibilities include:

  1. Providing specialist risk support and guidance to global procurement teams.
  2. Engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  3. Leading strategic supplier review meetings and providing financial support.
  4. Quantifying risk to give a clear understanding of potential costs and steps required.
  5. Leading responses to supplier distress and insolvency.
  6. Providing oversight and guidance on complex legal and commercial issues.
Qualifications / Skills Needed
  • Experience in corporate insolvency or restructuring, including legal and operational issues.
  • A strong and inspirational leader.
  • Ability to provide clear direction and equip the team to succeed.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills (both internal and external).
  • Ability to communicate effectively at the right level for the audience.
  • Business acumen, drive for results, personal initiative, and influencing skills.
