Grade A - £52,737 (National) or £58,409 (London - for London office based or home-based workers within the boundary of the M25) – There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £581 per annum for those working from home.

Contracted Hours: Full time 37 hours per week

As a Risk Manager in Governance & Assurance, you might get the chance to:

• Lead the development of a refreshed risk management framework that aligns with HM Treasury’s Orange Book principles.
• Present insightful risk analysis to the Executive Team and Board, helping shape strategic decisions.

The role

You’ll be key in helping us deliver our work. In this role, you’ll:

• Maintain and improve risk systems: Oversee the corporate risk register and support directorate-level registers to ensure risks are escalated and managed effectively.
• Support senior leaders: Facilitate risk discussions at senior meetings, offering challenge and insight to improve decision-making.
• Champion good practice: Promote a strong risk culture across CQC, helping teams understand and apply risk principles in their work.
