• Be responsible for leading and continuously improving risk and issue management across the Devonport Major Infrastructure Portfolio.
• Establish a consistent, proportionate and evidence-based approach to the identification, assessment, ownership, treatment, monitoring, reporting and escalation of risks and issues across portfolio, programme and project activity.
• Provide expert strategic-level advice to the SRO, Portfolio Head, programme and project leaders, governance bodies and risk and issue owners. Support accountable owners to understand exposure, develop proportionate mitigation or response plans, identify opportunities, and escalation matters where exposure exceeds agreed tolerances or requires intervention at the next level of management.
• SC is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
