Sizewell C is recruiting a Risk Manager to join the PMO and support delivery programmes with integrated risk processes. The role reports to a Senior Risk Manager and focuses on ownership, deployment, and continuous improvement of PMO risk activities within SZC governance.
The successful candidate will facilitate workshops, develop QRAs for cost and schedule, and provide regular risk reporting including dashboards and forecasts, helping delivery teams manage risk effectively.

Salary: Circa £90,000 depending on experience
Bonus: 5% annual incentive
Pension: Up to 7.5% employee contribution / 15% employer contribution
Holiday: 28 days plus bank holidays
SZC Project Controls will serve as a centre of excellence, managing and strategically using delivery performance management information. Our team will enable successful delivery of SZC Project through proactive Project Controls that drives forward-looking solutions to continuously improve performance. As a Risk Manager, you will be working within the Project Management Office (PMO) and will support/ be deployed with one of SZC's delivery programmes.
Your role will be to support the operation of all PMO risk processes across SZC, reporting to a Senior Risk Manager. This will entail supporting the ownership, deployment, and continuous improvement of all the PMO risk process elements of one of SZC's delivery programmes whilst helping to ensure we operate and deliver controls within the SZC governance structure, organisation and delivery model. They will help ensure PMO risk activities being carried out in an efficient manner in accordance with calendars and deadlines established on SZC.
As Risk Manager you will:
Proven facilitation skills; able to independently facilitate workshops within programme.
Good technical skills; able to independently deliver QRAs, spanning Cost QRAs and Schedule QRAs
Linked capability to integrate/ support breadth of project controls/ project delivery/ business support processes (e.g. Finance)
Good engagement skills; able to independently engage teams of: Range of project and corporate professionals
