Within the 2nd line of defense, you will partner with 1st line operations across Claims, Underwriting, and Distribution to support effective risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring activities.
You will provide oversight and challenge on 1st line risk management processes, controls, and decision-making, focusing on operational and conduct risk. Additionally, you will support the enhancement and implementation of the company's risk management framework, lead RCSAs, develop risk assessments, and monitor risk appetite with 1st line stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation and delivery of risk and compliance reports to senior management, Board committees, and regulatory bodies as needed.
This role offers scope for you to make it your own, encouraging continuous challenge to the status quo and helping to develop the risk culture within the business.
We are seeking an experienced Risk professional from the Financial Services sector. Broad risk experience across multiple disciplines, including Operational and Conduct Risk, is preferred. Previous insurance experience is advantageous but not essential.
You should have experience developing risk assessments, executing RCSAs, and possess an analytical mindset, curiosity, and eagerness to learn. Excellent communication skills are essential.
