Job summary

RECON Search is seeking a risk professional to support a portfolio of construction, engineering, and infrastructure projects in the Birmingham area. You will engage with stakeholders from multiple organisations to support Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) across projects and have opportunities to upskill through funded training.

Ideal candidates have construction/engineering project experience and can run risk workshops.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering risk analyses in construction/engineering/infrastructure.
• Ability to run risk workshops with diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to upskill through funded training and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders across multiple organisations to support QRA on several projects.
• Assist in facilitating risk workshops and data collection for risk assessments.
• Contribute to the ongoing risk function and participate in training opportunities funded by the company.

Job description

Background:

This role has arisen to support an ongoing portfolio of projects within construction, total value of £15bn. With these projects of works currently under way and ready to go into the next phase this role has arisen as additional support to the existing risk function.

Role:

Within this role you will be engaging with stakeholders from multiple organisations offering support with QRA across multiple projects. You will need some modelling experience but will be given the opportunity to further up skill.

Required Expertise:

• Project experience within Construction, Engineering or Infrastructure
• Ability or willingness to run risk workshops
