Sopra Steria in the UK is seeking a senior Risk Management professional to lead and support the implementation of the Risk Management Framework within Financial Services. The role focuses on strengthening governance, risk controls, and customer outcomes while managing three lines of defence and engaging senior stakeholders.
The position is hybrid with weekly onsite work in Newcastle upon Tyne, offers a salary up to £60k plus car allowance and benefits, and requires SC clearance.
Following the successful launch of Sopra Steria Financial Services, a regulated entity in 2021, the business continues to grow in size; with a particular focus on developing and building a collections-based business. The business itself has grown exponentially since its launch, now supporting both government and commercial based clients through a team of around 40 colleagues.
As a member of the wider Shared Services Risk Management team, you'll support developing a culture which is both customer and outcome obsessed by defining, developing and delivering practices that drive positive outcomes.
You’ll play a key role in leading and supporting the implementation and strengthening of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and supporting risk frameworks and policies. You'll play a key role in enhancing and enabling the overall service using:
You’ll already have experience in relation to Risk Management and be used to operating within three lines of defence model.
