A healthcare provider in Scotland is hiring a Risk Management Facilitator to join the Risk and Resilience Team. The role involves analyzing data, supporting health and safety functions, and developing risk management strategies. Candidates must have a degree and experience in risk management. This is a permanent position based in Carstairs, offering a salary with a high secure environmental allowance.
Risk Management Facilitator – Risk and Resilience Team
AfC Band 5 (pro rata) plus a High Secure Environmental Allowance of £1,750.47 per annum (pro rata).

The Risk and Resilience Team provides a high-quality service focused on achieving an environment of “no surprises,” where risks are understood, eliminated, or controlled, and lessons are learned from adverse events. The team comprises Risk Management, Health and Safety, and Resilience functions, serving all departments within the State Hospital.
The successful candidate will participate in all team functions, including reporting and analyzing data for groups and committees, participating in investigations, supporting the Health and Safety Advisor and Resilience Officer, developing risk registers, training, Datix, and general administration. The Risk Management Facilitator will work alongside the Risk Management Team Leader to embed the TSH Risk Management Strategy within the hospital.
Applicants should be educated to degree level and have experience in risk management and health and safety. Investigation experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications are required.

Starting 1 April 2024, NHS Scotland will implement a reduced working week from 37.5 to 37 hours for full-time staff, with pro-rata reductions for part-time staff, without loss of earnings. Implementation may vary by department to ensure safety. The hospital is committed to full implementation as soon as it is safe to do so.
