As a Vice President in Risk Management and Compliance Document Governance Team, you will be responsible for managing a team of document managers who support document owners in navigating the document lifecycle of RM&C-owned policies, standards, and procedures. Your role will be crucial in streamlining the stakeholder experience and maintaining a strong control environment through innovation and intelligent solutions. You will collaborate closely with senior executives globally across the RM&C organization, aligned with each of the firm's Lines of Business and Corporate Functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a global team of RM&C document managers, guiding policy and standards owners through the document lifecycle, including drafting, editing, socialization, and approval.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the firmwide and RM&C document governance framework and requirements, advising stakeholders to ensure awareness and adherence.
- Represent the RM&C organization in the Firmwide Policy and Standard Governance Forum, shaping governance frameworks and promoting adherence.
- Drive the team’s innovation strategy, including AI/LLM and other innovative solutions, in partnership with ORDG's Product and Innovation Lead.
- Review and challenge draft documents, supporting firmwide programs to streamline governance processes.
- Define, implement, and assess metrics, including KPIs and KRIs, to monitor performance and ensure compliance.
- Oversee adherence programs to confirm teams follow applicable policies and standards.
- Partner with the Office of Document Governance and other teams to support initiatives, controls, and requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in Risk, Compliance, Legal, or related Control Management functions within financial services, regulatory, legal, or consulting firms.
- Ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders in the financial services industry.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical skills and creative thinking.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce executive-level materials independently.
- Professional maturity and confidence in stakeholder engagement.
