Job description

Allwyn operates the Three Lines of Defence Model. The Central Risk Team is a Second Line function supporting the First Line Risk Owners and business embedded Functional Assurance teams with application of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and the use of the AuditBoard Governance, Risk and Compliance system.

The purpose of the role is to support the Senior Risk Manager with maintaining the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and to assist the business with the application of the Framework. We have recently implemented AuditBoard, and a key requirement of this position is to become the AuditBoard knowledge specialist. This includes expertise in the Risks and Controls modules, as well as the “CrossComply,” “ESG,” and “Workstream” modules.

Enterprise Risk Management Framework

• Support the Head of ERM and Oversight and the Senior Risk Manager with the annual review of the Risk Management Policy.
• Assist in the annual review of Risk Management Processes.
• Advise Risk Owners and Functional Assurance Leads on applying the Policy and Processes.
• Provide training to groups or individuals as needed.

Risk Registers

• Help articulate and assess risks and controls within the business.
• Perform ad-hoc risk deep dives.
• Assist the Compliance Analyst with administration of the Control Self-Assessment process as required.

AuditBoard GRC System

• Become an expert user of all system modules.
• Administer risk processes within the system.
• Generate dashboards and reports automatically from the system.
• Collaborate with the business to identify opportunities to expand and promote system use.

Collaborative Working Relationships

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the business, Functional Assurance Leads, Internal Audit, and Regulatory Compliance teams.

Qualifications and Skills

• Risk management or internal audit experience is essential.
• A relevant degree is required.
• Professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, CIA, or similar) are preferred.
• Experience with GRC systems is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and organizational skills.
