Job summary

Our Future Health is seeking a Risk Governance Officer to help embed proportionate risk management across the organisation. You will work with the Risk Governance Manager to coordinate governance activities, support assurance, and strengthen risk-informed decision making.

This 18-month fixed-term contract involves coordinating risk reviews, maintaining risk registers, and producing clear risk reporting to support governance forums.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk management, governance, assurance, audit or compliance within a complex organisation.
• Knowledge of enterprise and operational risk management principles and governance frameworks.
• Experience coordinating governance, risk review or reporting processes.
• Experience facilitating meetings, workshops or stakeholder discussions.
• Ability to review risk information, identify gaps and provide constructive challenge.
• Ability to analyse information and communicate via clear reports and recommendations.
• Experience producing management information, reports or governance papers.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating day-to-day risk governance activities and risk review cycles.
• Maintaining accurate risk information and following up on progress.
• Supporting the implementation of the Risk Management Framework.
• Facilitating risk identification, assessment and review workshops.
• Coordinating development and review of risk registers.
• Reviewing risk information for completeness and alignment with the framework.
• Producing high-quality risk reporting and governance information.
• Supporting assurance activities and governance records.
• Building relationships across the organisation to promote proportionate risk handling.
• Supporting continuous improvement across risk governance and the Assurance function.
