Job Description:

The role

Our Risk Line of Service helps clients to anticipate, understand, and transform how they manage risk to their business (e.g., financial, operational, regulatory, and strategic), and assist them in responding to risk events when they occur.

Our Banking Financial Risk team helps clients mitigate risk, respond to regulatory changes, navigate compliance, and ensure continuity during crises. The team is looking to expand its capabilities to become the market leader for these services.

We’re hiring Senior Associates with experience in the banking sector—whether through external audit, consulting, or industry roles. You will have opportunities to develop your professional and personal skills, including leadership, commercial, and technological skills.

What your days will look like:

  • Working on engagements related to credit, market, and treasury risk management, operating model transformation, front office and traded risk booking model restructuring, balance sheet management, and capital optimization, while meeting regulatory obligations.
  • Collaborating with technology specialists to develop and enhance market-ready solutions.
  • Participating in project teams and engaging with clients, including senior stakeholders.
  • Assessing the impact of prudential regulatory changes and supporting clients in adapting to new regulatory landscapes.
  • Developing technology skills, including GenAI use cases for risk and regulatory processes.
  • Preparing regulatory analyses and reports.
  • Supporting senior team members in marketing and sales activities.
  • Building relationships with clients and internal teams at PwC.
  • Contributing to PwC’s Thought Leadership initiatives.

This role is for you if:

  • You have knowledge of investment banking, retail, and/or wholesale banking products.
  • You possess strong written, verbal, and numerical skills.
  • You have effective relationship management skills.
  • You are experienced in problem solving and navigating complexity.

Additional skills and experience may include:

  • Pillar 1 capital and liquidity requirements and reporting.
  • Financial and Treasury Risk management.
  • Risk and regulatory transformation.
  • Legal entity or booking model restructuring.
  • Familiarity with technology tools.

We offer flexible working arrangements, private medical cover, virtual GP access, volunteering days, and more, regardless of your career stage or personal life.
