The role:
- Our Risk Line of Service helps clients to anticipate, understand, and transform how they manage risk to their business (e.g., financial, operational, regulatory, and strategic), and respond to risk events when they occur.
- Our Banking Financial Risk team assists clients in mitigating risk, responding to regulatory changes, navigating compliance, and ensuring continuity through crises. The team aims to grow and become a market leader in these services.
- We are hiring Managers with knowledge and experience in prudential risk and/or banking regulation. Candidates from consultancy backgrounds or banking risk, finance, or treasury functions are encouraged to apply.
What your days will look like:
- Working on engagements across credit, market, and treasury risk management, operating model transformation, risk booking model restructuring, capital optimization, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborating with technology specialists to develop and enhance market solutions and client services.
- Participating in project teams and engaging with senior client stakeholders.
- Assessing the impact of regulatory changes and supporting clients in adapting to new requirements.
- Developing technology skills, including GenAI use cases for risk and regulatory processes.
- Preparing regulatory analysis and reports.
- Supporting senior team members in marketing and sales activities.
- Building relationships internally and with clients.
- Contributing to PwC’s Thought Leadership initiatives.
This role is for you if you have:
- Knowledge of investment banking, retail, or wholesale banking products.
- Expertise in one or more areas such as credit risk, traded risk, treasury risk, transformation projects, capital optimization, or Pillar 1 requirements.
- Strong written, verbal, and numerical skills.
- Excellent relationship management skills.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complexity.
