The Role
The role of Risk Engineer is to understand the key exposures of our clients across various industrial sectors and to help them manage their risk to a tolerable level.The role involves a great degree of client interaction and requires the ability to communicate in a consultative, but diplomatic manner, in order to deliver the results for industry and insurance stakeholders. The outcome of risk engineering surveys is the delivery of technical reports that must be clear to both technical and non-technical audiences, so the ability to communicate with a wide audience is essential.
The successful candidate will be involved in the management of accounts for multi-national organisations across a range of manufacturing and process industries but will be supplemented with survey work in other industries. Excellent knowledge of manufacturing and process operations, logistics, operations, asset integrity activities (maintenance & inspection), and process safety management; plus, international codes & standards is highly desirable.
