Job Description:

Excellent opportunity to assist the Head of Finance Governance, Risk & Controls with activities including risk management, compliance with ICOFR, data governance standards, GDPR, and support for the Data Governance framework, GDPR compliance, policy attestation, and 1st LOD activities for Finance Teams.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Participate in quarterly ICOFR certification and maintain documentation with various teams.
  • Support Data Governance activities, including Data Register management, Data Quality reporting, and GDPR compliance.
  • Assist with policy attestation and risk management activities, including RCSA completion, risk event reporting, and EUC standard compliance.
  • Develop and improve controls and processes, working with the business to implement best practices.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Commercial awareness; ideally a certified accountant or actuary.
  • Decision-making ability, strong communication skills, and relationship-building across finance functions.
  • Interpersonal skills, problem-solving, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
  • Willingness to pursue relevant qualifications is advantageous but not essential.
